The BFT Pillar B automatic bollard is designed for the defense of high-security areas (churches, airports, barracks). In the event of a power outage, the shaft of the bollard lowers automatically. Made with strong AISI304 or AISI316 stainless steel, this model built is to withstand an excessive amount of force. With a powerful hydraulic operator, this model is capable of a rise time of 5.0 seconds or less. The Pillar B is capable of enduring varying weather conditions as a result of its operating ampient temperature of -40°F - 140°F (with heater).
